Gelaran SGIC V 2022, SG Beri Apresiasi Tertinggi kepada Inovator Terbaik Perusahaan

Rembang, September 28, 2022 – PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) showed the highest appreciation to the best innovators at the company level in the awarding event of the 2022 Semen Gresik Innovation Convention (SGIC) V at the Pollos Hotel Ballroom, Rembang, on September 28, 2022.

The event was attended by the Director of Finance and HR of PTSG, Muchamad Supriyadi; the Director of Production of PTSG, Reni Wulandari; the PTSG management; the PTSG employees; and the Director of Operations of Semen Indonesia Group (SIG), Ir. Yosviandri, M.M., who were present online.

The Director of Operations of Semen Indonesia Group (SIG), Yosviandri, stated that the number of innovators at Semen Gresik is increasing every year, as can be observed from the rise in the number of incoming innovations.

The 2022 SGIC V event engaged 42 innovative works from five categories. The number of works submitted by every SG unit rose by 55% from the previous year. At the end of the SGIC V awarding event, 38 best innovation works and 10 total productive maintenance (TPM) were selected.

Meanwhile, the Director of Production of PTSG, Reni Wulandari, expressed her appreciation for the SGIC V event, which successfully earned benefits of IDR9.4 billion compared to last year, which only reached IDR1.8 billion. It is necessary to maintain this achievement to instill innovation in the company model.

"We also appreciate the committee's performance, starting from the process of dissemination, registration, judging, to the implementation of this spectacular and innovative SGIC awarding," explained Reni Wulandari in the press release (28/9).

Wulandari added that the implementation of the SGIC program every year must align with the company's vision as the cement industry pioneer in establishing sustainable value through eco-friendly technology acceleration.

"It is expected that the innovators with their quality work can create a positive impact on the company's environment and synergize in supporting the company's roadmap," she said.

The first-place winner for the Breakthrough Innovation category, the Rembang Gemilang team, represented by Yeni Indah Lestari, revealed her gratitude for being chosen as the winner, which is a remarkable achievement for the Rembang Gemilang team. This achievement inspired her to continuously improve operational excellence in the functions of Public Relations and Institutional Relations to support a positive reputation and optimal stakeholder engagement for PTSG.

"We expect that SGIC will be able to consistently attract and encourage the spirit of innovation for employees so that innovation becomes a work culture deeply rooted in supporting the company," she concluded.
